Anthrax
This disease initially hits mammals that eat grass, and sometimes it hits some mammals and birds that don't eat grass and humans get sick for communication with infected animals or by eating them. So controlling animals is the key to keep humans safe from this disease.
What gets the spotlight is that the factor of this disease is bacterial and this bacteria can stay at the same environment for years, maybe tens of years waiting for the body it will live in. This disease exists in coastal states specially in Africa and Asia. It also spreads in North and South America.
There are three kinds of this disease hits humans :
1 – Occurs by cell entry into the fabric of the skin through a cut or abrasion in the skin.
2 – Occurs by eating contaminated meat especially a dead infected animal's meat.
3 – Occurs by inhaling polluted air of the disease.
All the three kinds can kill if they weren't cured right.
Prevention
Anthrax prevention in both humans and animals depends on standard procedures in livestock. Like safely dumping dead infected animal's bodies or vaccination of herds at risk.
Cure
Curing via antibiotic always brings fast getting well for both humans and animals that are infected if they were taken immediately after the disease started. Antibiotics can also be used for prevention with patients who don't exhibit symptoms of the disease and it's suspected that they are infected.
